Design For Modern Living

Architecture with purpose.
Designed for place.

Avant Garde Architects is a multidisciplinary design practice creating thoughtful architecture, interiors and urban environments across India.

Who we are

A multidisciplinary practice, shaped by context.

Since 2011, Avant Garde Architects has been creating spaces across architecture, interiors, urban design and landscape. Based in Guwahati, Assam, our practice brings together diverse design disciplines to approach every project as a complete environment; considering not only the building, but the people, landscape, culture and context around it.

Recognized for Design Excellence

Our work has been recognized by leading design platforms, publications, and industry organizations for its thoughtful approach to contemporary interior design.

Recognition across architecture, interiors and the built environment.

Our Approach

Design begins with understanding.

Every project begins with its context. We consider how a place is experienced, how people move through it, how light and climate shape it, and how architecture can respond to its surroundings. Our approach brings together functionality, materiality, landscape and culture to create spaces that are not only visually considered, but meaningful and enduring.
